Recognising the socio-economic disparities of our country and the huge gap that exists between the rich and poor, programmes have more often tended to focus on either side of the divide. However, this approach leaves out the semi-literate and illiterate and it is this very sector of society that is often associated with abject poverty. The JLD Institute through its training programmes seeks to address this grey area.
The JLD Institute training focuses on people from diverse backgrounds and across skills base and levels of education. The Institute tries to accommodate all participants, making them feel at ease to express themselves in their respective vernacular languages. Training is conducted in all levels and in a language most suited to the participating audience while affording space for demonstrations and activities to make the material easy to understand. Most of our training programmes are designed and developed to be outreach in nature.
